Abstract
Ten percent of patients consulting a general practitioner (GP) because of dyspepsia report one or more alarm symptom(s): anemia, black stools, blood in stools, dysphagia, jaundice, weight loss. We observed the consequence of such symptoms prospectively over 3 years.
