- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which examines the ability of metamaterials for light-bending. It measures the refractive index of an I-shaped metamaterial made and placed close to one another, which then produces an extremely strong electric dipole from the gap of the materials when irradiated with light of terahertz frequency. Refractive index was measured using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. It shows that the study provided a great potential to obtain further ability to manipulate light.
