Title

Systemic Analysis of Deformation Properties of Polymer Textile Surgical Threads.

Authors

Kozlov, A. A.

Abstract

The deformation properties of polypropylene and poly(vinylidene fluoride) surgical threads used to fabricate endoprostheses were systemically analyzed. The degree of effect of the thread properties on the characteristics of mesh endoprotheses based on them was established. This allowed advantageous ways of improving the quality of these items to be found. The elasticity of the endoprostheses was shown to be determined mainly by their mesh structure, which remained proportional to the thread elasticity.
