Abstract

The article reports on antimicrobial susceptibility of human blood culture isolates of Lactobacillus species. A case study of twenty three Lactobacillus strains collected from patients in Arhus County in Denmark is presented. The test results of the Lactobacillus infected patients treated with ampicillin in combination with other antimicrobial agents and vancomycin and metronidazol are reported.
