- Abstract
Selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) is an effective treatment for lower extremity spasticity in cerebral palsy. Cortical organization in sensory cortex may be abnormal in cerebral palsy, and deafferentation is known to lead to cortical reorganization in many situations.
