Abstract
The article offers information on Kawasaki Disease, a type of inflammation of the blood vessels which most commonly occurs in children. Its symptoms include fever for five or more days, cracked lips, swelling of the hands and feet, and peeling of the skin. Treatment include the administration of high doses of aspirin and the use of corticosteroids or other anti-inflammatory medications.
