At present, the standard still has certain limitations on the use of machine-made sand (MMS). It does not consider the impact of different lithology and grain types on the particle gradation. The performance of MMS concrete in actual production is not satisfactory. The effect of particle size on the fineness modulus (FM) guides the production of MMS. By reducing the range of value of the MMS grade required by the specification, the granite MMS concrete bleeding condition is improved. At the same time, a sand rate correction method considering the FM, micro fines content, and water-cement ratio is proposed, which is a new attempt for the use of granite MMS concrete and accumulates experience for the subsequent engineering application of granite MMS concrete.
