El efecto del envejecimiento químico y ultravioleta (UV) sobre el comportamiento mecánico y el aspecto estético de los nuevos composites de moldeo en masa (BMC).
The article analyzes the impact of chemical and ultraviolet aging on bulk molding compounds (BMC). The importance of fiber-reinforced polymer composites (FRP) in the industry is highlighted. The processes of BMC and sheet molding compounds (SMC) are compared, and the mechanical and aesthetic properties of BMC are mentioned, as well as their resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. The objective of the study is to evaluate different BMC formulations and their properties under different conditions. The results of an experimental study on the composition and properties of different resin matrix composite formulations are presented. Mechanical properties such as flexural and tensile modulus are analyzed, as well as aesthetic properties such as color and gloss. The results show that the type of resin and filler have an impact on the properties of BMC. Vinyl ester resin exhibits better mechanical properties, and alumina filler is more suitable for applications requiring high flexural rigidity and hardness.
