The article focuses on a study related to evaluation of genotypes of bitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.) for various quality traits. Topics discussed include bitter gourd as a source of vitamin C which can be retained during storage in green fruits for four weeks as particular temperatures, existence of wide range of carotenoids majority in seed pericarp of ripen fruits and fruit aril membrane; and good amount of nutritional components such as total sugar and ascorbic acid.
