Abstract

The article focuses on a study related to examination of the effects of terminal heat stress in wheat and its management with chemicals in India. Topics discussed include yield reduction in grain weight from yield components with increase in average temperature during wheat grain filling, more plant height in under ambient compared to heat stress conditions and non-significant effect of chemical spray on crop dry matter, plant height, number of tillers and leaf area index.
