In this study, ecological design criteria have been put forward in order to provide a healthy, selfsufficient, comfortable and quality living space for buildings and residential areas formed by the combination of buildings and structures. In this context, within the scope of seven ecological design criteria (site selection, building, energy, waste management, transportation, space organization, vegetative design) and sub-criteria of these criteria, the Sonsuz Şükran Village in Hüyük district of Konya province, which was determined as the research area, was evaluated. In this context, it has been concluded that the research area has 68.18% compliance with the criteria and subcriteria in question. However, suggestions have been developed for the sub-criteria that do not comply or are not in the research area. This study sets an example in terms of reducing environmental impacts, developing more sustainable lifestyles and blending socio-cultural interaction.
