This article discusses a case of retroperitoneal fibrosis in a 33-year-old female patient. The patient initially received systemic therapy but did not benefit from it. A retroperitoneal biopsy revealed localized Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD), and the decision was made to proceed with robot-assisted ureterolysis. The surgical procedure involved isolating and freeing the ureter from the fibrous reaction, and a robotic omentoplasty was performed. The patient had a successful recovery with no surgical-related complications.
