Context and background: Occupant satisfaction is very important for the prosperity of Airbnb investment. The interest of this research is in the private homes that are commercialized into Airbnb rentals, which primarily were not meant for such uses and now there is a hybrid of residential properties and hotel properties. In a sense that, they are to offer comfort of a hotel with facilities of a home. Goal and objectives: To address this, the study intends to investigate the level of Airbnb occupant satisfaction with the factors such as location, services, property and hospitality. Methodology: The study employed quantitative approach, were questionnaires containing 5-point Likert scale questions were distributed to Airbnb occupants and Airbnb homeowners, 93 responses were obtained. Results: The study revealed that, despite the Airbnb homes not primarily suitable for hosting visitors with the available facilities, they are still satisfactory to the occupants but subjected to improvements in some aspects within the factors. The Airbnb owners should adapt to customer first culture, responding to changing guests' requirements and awareness creation on factors valued most by guests.
