Abstract

Studies in the field of rhetoric began early and have made continuous progress. Most of the works in the field of rhetoric are in writing. It enables us to review manuscripts in order to root many of the rhetorical issues. It leads us to a correct scientific innovation that represents our Islamic identity. With the development of the studies of the science of rhetoric, the science of rhetoric, along with the efforts of a group of scholars such as 'Abd-al-Qaher Jorjani, was brought to a certain level by al-Sekkaki and became an independent science until it was completed and matured. Sharh'u Miftah, is the most prominent work that has been commented on by many scholars, especially al-Teftazani, who has proven his competence in the field of balaghat. The aim of this article is to present al-Teftazani's work called Sharh'u Miftah, which is in the form of manuscripts in libraries, to the benefit of the scientific world by making it ready for publication in accordance with the critical rules of review/edition. Our article consists of an introduction, two chapters. In the introduction, the aim and scope of the article and the method followed in the investigation were mentioned. In the first chapter, information was provided about the life and works of al-Teftazani, the author of Sharh'u Miftah, which is the subject of the this article. In the second chapter, Sharh'u Miftah was analyzed from various aspects and the method was explained in detail.
