greater heights. I am pleased to announce the launch of the SMJ Editorial Fellowship this year. The SMJ Editorial Fellowship is a oneyear programme that aims to expose early career clinician researchers to the editorial processes of a journal and to enhance the quality of their peer review outputs. Fellows will be mentored by members of the Editorial Board. They will be guided through peer reviews, participate in Editorial Board meetings and work on editorials and commentaries with their mentors. Through this initiative, SMJ hopes to do its part in nurturing talent and building a pipeline to further enhance editori.
