- Abstract
The article presents the Choosing Wisely Canada rural medicine list of recommendations that was help prepared by the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada (SRPC) as of January 2021. Among the recommendations are refraining from sending patients for special visit or screening test if it can be done virtually or by a local physician, and avoiding the transfer of palliative patient to a distant facility if care can be given locally.
