Title

Skin health in Bangladesh: An overview.

Authors

Barua, Pritish

Abstract

The author discusses the skin health status in Bangladesh. He asserts that dermatologists in the country are more focused on curative care instead of preventive or public health measures. He also contends that health service system policymakers neglect the significance of skin care. He believes that the improvement of the overall skin health status is possible if health care workers focus on dermatology's public health aspects and community-oriented approaches.
