Abstract: The author reflects on the importance of intralesional immunotherapy to treat warts. The author states that the therapy is associated with the production of Th1 cytokines which activate cytotoxic and natural killer cells to eradicate human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. The author mentions that the therapy clears not only the local warts but also distant warts.
