TERRITÓRIOS URBANOS: A INTERFACE SOCIOECONÔMICA NAS CIDADES DE CHAPECÓ, ERECHIM E PASSO FUNDO.

Abstract

The differences interpret forms of urban space provided to present study analyses performed around Chapecó, Erechim and Passo Fundo cities. These cities allow analyses consistent enough for affirm urbanizing model, about which we live, include a complex and diverse formation. The urban analyses performed starting the reality of Chapecó, Erechim and Passo Fundo in this article took account principally the socioeconomic aspects denoting the presence of different social classes in the three cities. In Passo Fundo and Erechim, the marked contact with the populations called borderrails give an idea of the extent of poverty in these cities, while in Chapecó areas located on hillsides and distant from downtown are the places where they live people with low incomes. The common between these three cities is that downtown is more organized and more elite place. However, we can see in Chapecó faster economic development than in Passo Fundo and Erechim, finally it´s possible consider that Chapecó is a younger city than the other two, and it already achieves higher economic and population.
