Authors

Abstract

The article offers information on a study conducted by the authors related to whether U.S. investors overreacted to bankruptcy risks and technical insolvency during the stock market crash in 2008 and compares it with the crash in 1987. It discusses the two multivariate linear regression models authors used for the study. The study shows that stock prices of companies with high risk of insolvency and bankruptcy declined more than other stocks.
