From the Editor-in-Chief. What Do Registered Nurses and Other Health Care Professionals Do?

Authors

Ulrich, Beth

Abstract

The author reflects on the duties and responsibilities of registered nurses (RNs). She talks about her experience in a chronic hemodialysis unit located inside an acute care hospital, her work as the chief nursing officer at a different hospital where they brought in a consultant to work with their leadership team, and her realization that evidence and experience would suggest there are things to learn about each other.
