This article is about the library, which is a source of knowledge, a center of culture and spirituality for young and old readers of all eras. The library plays a big role in forming the reading culture of young people, increasing their love for books, and broadening their horizons. Today, information and library institutions are increasingly becoming important social centers that support the population collectively or individually. Successful libraries around the world manage to solve various, even not the most insignificant tasks: somewhere they promote books, somewhere they conduct classes with vulnerable children, teach them, develop design principles and educational games for the blind, somewhere they organize language courses for immigrants, the list is endless. They often become centers of knowledge about a particular area, preserving the cultural and educational heritage of that place and shaping local identity.
