Abstract: The article discusses the new verity of Phlogacanthus curviflorus (Wall.) Nees from Assam, India. It mentions that Phlogacanthus Nees comes under Andrographideae of the family Acanthaceae, and states that several specimen are found from field investigation for taxonomic studies of the genus Phlogacanthus Nees in Assam in 2014-2015. It also mentions that var. menchanensis is the new verity of Phlogacanthus curviflorus (Wall.) Nees.
