Title: Floristic Study of Garudeshwar and Nandod Taluka of Narmada District, Gujarat, India.

Abstract: Floristic research plays a crucial role in evaluating the botanical richness and potential of a given area. It provides insights into fundamental biological phenomena such as speciation, isolation, endemism, and evolution. The botanical composition of an area is dynamic, subject to fluctuations over time due to various ecological factors, primarily biotic influences. The Garudeshwar and Nandod taluka of Narmada district was chosen as the focal point of this floristic investigation due to its abundant plant diversity. Despite a prior exploration, there has been a notable absence of recent data concerning the area's current flora. Our study aimed to fill this gap by conducting a comprehensive survey of the region's plant diversity. Our findings reveal a significant botanical diversity, with a total of 737 angiosperms identified, representing 415 genera and 125 families.
