Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the range expansion and distribution of the Northern Pygmy Mouse (Baiomys taylori) throughout the Llano Estacado region of eastern New Mexico. The study used mixed bird seeds as bait for the species and analyzes general habitat associations of Baiomys with Hispid Cotton Rat (Sigmodon hispidus).
