Abstract

The exertion of discourse makers with properly on literary texts can contribute to readers' awareness of discourse makers using at their own speaking, thus and so development of speaking ability. The aim of present study was to determine which discourse makers are used and what is their discourse functions in five tales that are compiled and reconstituted by Tansel. According to descriptive analysis findings there is a wide variety of using the multifunctional discourse makers in this tales. Results showed that Tansel's tales can support the speaking ability and awareness about discourse makers' construction.
