- Abstract
A letter to the editor is presented which describes a retrospective study of the effectiveness pf pre-operative induction chemoradiotherapy in treating superior sulcus tumors (SST) in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). Patients received radiotherapy planning computed tomography (CT) prior to treatment to determine tumor size. Other topics include the histopathological analysis of resected tumor specimens, radiotherapy dosage, and statistical analysis of patent treatment response data.
