Abstract

The article titled "Collection Political Parties and Movements in Uruguay: History and Present" is a review of a collection of books that analyze the history and present of political parties in Uruguay. The three volumes of the collection are coordinated by different researchers and address the Blancos, Colorados, and Left parties. The books explore different aspects of the life of these parties, such as their historical periods, currents and leaderships, issues and controversies, profiles of prominent figures, and a chronology of their existence. The collection highlights the importance of the adaptation of political parties and their relationship with society and the State.
