Title

Other Devices for Investigating Personality.

Authors

Abelson, Harold H.; Ellis, Albert

Abstract

This article deals with character tests and to other techniques of personality testing not covered in the previous chapters of the journal. It is noted that checklists and behavior-rating devices designed to determine social maturity, self-help, or quality of behavior were developed or further studied from preschool to adult levels. Meanwhile, while the main function of a test of mental ability is usually to measure intelligence, such tests have recently been applied increasingly to the measurement of personality as well.
