Abstract

Originality/Contribution: The unique innovation and formative research that harmonizes the professionalization of farmers in a new sustainable ecology and economy, supported by drone technology. Method: A mixed approach was employed, as the research process is based on complementarity, special attention has been devoted to case studies and autobiographical narratives of farmer innovators. Information Collection Strategies: Instruments were designed, focusing on the case study of farmers in Bailén and Comarca, supplemented by dialogues and cultural exchanges at agricultural farms, and an analysis of the vision of olive growing in Villa de Leyva and Comarca. Conclusion: A theoretical-practical model of farmer professionalization has been developed based on an understanding of olive culture, the application of drone technology, the establishment of cooperative organizations, and a commitment to a new ecology and ethics for the development and appreciation of olive history and landscapes, resulting in a new salutogenesis.
