Psychometric Validation of the World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0-Twelve-Item Version in a Heterogeneous Group of Employed People With Disabilities.
Objective: To psychometrically validate the WHODAS 2.0 12-item version in a heterogeneous sample of employed adults with disabilities. Design: A quantitative research design using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and concurrent validity analysis. Participants: 284 employed persons with disabilities participated in this study. Results: Two factors, Higher Order Functioning and Activities of Daily Living, were identified in the EFA. Relevant psychosocial variables were found to correlate with the two factors in the expected directions. Conclusion: The WHODAS 2.0 12-item version appears to have a two-factor structure when used to measure disability impact in employed individuals with disabilities.
