Abstract: The article "Pathologies of virtual reality: Cyberculture and science fiction" from the Journal of Philosophy Studies addresses the importance of fictional dimensions in cyberculture and the need to analyze tools to detect its pathologies. The author, Teresa López-Pellisa, explores the fictions that operate in virtual reality and proposes a critical approach in two chapters of her work. Reflections on the relationship between technology, imagination, and perception of reality in cyberspace are highlighted.
