- Abstract
The article in the Catalan Journal of Environmental Law analyzes international environmental jurisprudence in the second semester of 2024, focusing on the advisory opinion of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) on climate change. It details that States have specific obligations under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) to prevent, reduce, and control marine pollution caused by greenhouse gas emissions.
