Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyse waste planning at the municipal level. Following the approval of Law 7/2022 on Waste and Contaminated Land for a Circular Economy, municipalities with more than 5000 inhabitants must approve waste management programmes, in addition to having the possibility of adopting prevention plans. This study will try to shed light on the current situation in terms of compliance with the regulation, as well as the possible tools to achieve the objectives of the same.
