The article analyzes seventeen judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union related to environmental law, highlighting cases of non-compliance by Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Malta. Issues regarding the trading of greenhouse gas emission rights and the promotion of renewable energies are addressed, as well as a dispute between an energy services manager in Italy and renewable energy producing companies. The Court ruled on the long-term stability necessary for sustainable investments in renewable energies and resolved cases related to the conservation of natural habitats, wildlife, pollution, and water policy.
