- Abstract
The article focuses on the postsecondary curriculum created by The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) to young people with intellectual disabilities in Trenton, New Jersey. The TCNJ is a state college and an undergraduate residential school with around 5,000 undergraduate students. Its aim is to create an inclusive community that could support young adults with disabilities through the development process of adulthood, as well as to offer them with competitive liberal education. Moreover, the institution acknowledges that the success of the students with intellectual disabilities in the postsecondary education, lies in a collaborative effort among faculty, students, administration, families and community resources.
