The aim of this study is to evaluate the speaking skills of B1 learners of Turkish as a foreign language. The problem statement of the study was determined as "How are the speaking skills of B1 students learning Turkish as a foreign language?". The population of the study was 10 B1 level students in Nişantaşı University. Within the scope of study, scale use permission, ethics committee permission and consent forms were obtained. The method of the study is mixed method. While the quantitative aspect of the method was provided by scaling, the qualitative aspect was provided by focus interviews. Yorgancı's (2021) "B1 Level Independent Speaking Skill Rubric for Turkish as a Foreign Language Learners" was used to evaluate speaking skills. Students are at "very good" or "good" level in using greetings and addressing expressions, summarizing conversations, expressing their thoughts logically, speaking fluently, correct pronunciation, adjusting speaking speed, correct intonation, etc.
