This study was conducted to examine the contributions of the teaching practice course to preservice preschool teachers and the practice school. In the study, phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The study group consisted of 22 pre-service teachers studying in the Preschool Teaching Programme at a state university and 8 preschool teachers working in an independent preschool education institution affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Ankara city centre. Semi-structured interview forms prepared by the researchers and obtained expert opinion were used to collect the research data. The data obtained were analysed with MAXQDA qualitative analysis software. In the descriptive analysis process, themes and subthemes were formed by taking into account the topics in each question. As a result of the research, it was determined that the implementation process contributed to the prospective teachers in terms of getting to know the field and gaining experience, planning play-based activities suitable for children's age and developmental level, learning needs and interests, preparing materials, making adaptation studies, creating democratic classroom management, getting to know and love the profession, and contributing to the teachers in terms of effective cooperation with the instructors.
