Abstract: The article discusses use of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of prostate cancer. Topics discussed include use of under transrectal ultrasonography (TRUS) diagnostic method in prostate biopsy, applications of MRI in management of patients including therapy planning, staging of prostate cancer, and evaluation of tumor response, and the recommendations for the use of MRI published by the European Society of Uroradiology (ESUR).
