This study investigates the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), social anxiety, and compulsive buying behaviour. Data from an online survey of 388 participants was analyzed using SPSS and AMOS programs. The study found that FoMO has a positive impact on compulsive buying and social anxiety and that social anxiety does not influence compulsive buying and does not play a mediating role. The research is important for a better understanding other factors in the relationship between FoMO and compulsive buying behaviour. Additionally, suggestions were made for exploring relationships with different mechanisms beyond the determining factors of FoMO, compulsive buying, and social anxiety.
