Abstract

The article discusses the need for rebranding the nursing profession to enhance its visibility, redefine roles, and embrace innovation in response to evolving healthcare demands. Topics include the historical undervaluation of nursing, the efforts of the Royal College of Nursing and Nursing and Midwifery Council in the United Kingdom to update nursing definitions, and the importance of nurses asserting their leadership roles in decision-making and policy development.
