The present article addresses the analysis of the visual elements of jewelry made in Pará, Brazil, since the implementation in 1999 of the Mineral Verticalization Program for Gems and Jewelry of the State of Pará – PVMGJPA. It examines the characteristics of jewelry collections from Pará, focusing on themes, creative process, design, and manufacturing. The methodology employed involved bibliographical and documentary research, data collection from 2002 to 2022, and the description of events related to the generation of jewelry products through participatory research in qualification actions. This resulted in the systematization of the journey of Pará's jewelry industry, as discussed in this article, where key players in the jewelry sector obtained technical and attitudinal qualifications, leading to the establishment of cooperative spaces for knowledge exchange. These qualifications encompassed areas such as design, gemology, gem cutting, craftsmanship, and goldsmithing, resulting in the production of jewelry with configurations and content focused on biodiversity, culture, and local identity. These jewelry pieces showcase both pre-existing skills and newly acquired ones, expressed in jewelry designs featuring characteristics of the Pará Amazon region.
