Title: Identification of Catalytic Amino Acids of Cyclodextran Glucanotransferase from Bacillus circulans T-3040.

Abstract: The article presents a report identifying catalytic amino acids of cyclodextran glucanotransferase (CITase) from Bacillus circulans T-3040. CITase was modified chemically from the T-3040 strain of Baciullus circulans. The results show that Asp145 and Asp270 are important in the enzymatic reaction of T-3040 CITase.
