Abstract

The article discusses study which evaluates the anti-inflammatory activity of Huang-Lian-Jie-Du-Tang (HLJDT), a Chinese medicine, in vivo and in vitro. The study employs carrageenan rat air pouch model, liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), and HPLC-diode array detector (DAD) analysis. Results reveal that HLJDT could inhibit biosynthesis of eicosanoids formed by various lipoxygenases.
