Objective:To summarize the application characteristics of guided self-help intervention for anxiety disorders. Methods:By using the scoping review method, the literature was retrieved from 12 Chinese and English databases, including China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI), PubMed, Cochrane Library, and so on. After literature screening and data extraction, the research results were summarized and reported. Results:A total of 10 895 pieces of literature were retrieved, and 81 articles were finally included, summarized from four aspects:basic characteristics, intervention characteristics, self - help characteristics, and guiding characteristics. Conclusions:Guided self-help intervention has been widely used to treat anxiety disorders. The existing studies are relatively consistent in the intervention methods, presentation forms, intervention doses, and the general characteristics of self-help and guidance, indicating that the guidance and self-help intervention for anxiety disorders have tended to be unified. However, further research is still needed in terms of the support level of the guides, the qualifications of the guides, and the specific guide methods.
