Abstract

Objective：To appraise and summarize best evidence on oral feeding care for adult patients with dysphagia. Methods：The professional databases and related websites were retrieved from inception to August 2019 to collect guidelines，recommended practice， reference，evidence summary，expert consensus and systematic review regarding oral feeding care for adult patients with dysphagia. Results：Totally 28 literatures，including fourteen guidelines，five evidence summaries，two references，five expert consensus and two systematic reviews，were included. The best evidence of seven core courses and twenty - one secondary items concerning nutrition planning，oral feeding，hydration，monitoring，prevention of aspiration，health education and risk management were summarized. Conclusions：Based on the existing evidence，the best evidences on oral feeding care for adult patients with dysphagia were integrated. And it is suggested to promote the best evidences into clinical practice combined with the clinical practice and the support of the institution's resources.
