The article presents information on the periodical "Group & Organization Management" (GOM). The periodical is expanding its editorial focus in many ways. During the upcoming year, it will have two special issues published, and two additional special issues under way thanks to it's associate editors Fred Dansereau and Alison Konrad. Many good and interesting topics will be explored in the near future. In the current issue, it has five excellent articles. In keeping with the new guidelines for GOM, these articles reflect academic rigor, a strong theory base and a wide range of managerial topics. The first article focuses on inter-firm collaboration by looking at how a firm's perception of its partner influences its own behavior. The second article looks at the innovation process within firms using a model based on communication and involvement. The third article looks at the potential role of the leader-member exchange relationship as a mediator of trust and employee involvement. The fourth article looks at the influence of member expertise on involvement and self-evaluation in work groups. It is found that imputed expertise has a significant impact on group member perceptions and actions. Finally, the fifth article looks at the role of empowerment and enrichment on employee loyalty during times of downsizing.
