- Title

- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which examined the visual responses of preterm infants who were fed with human milk (HM) and formula with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) concentration that matches the intrauterine accretion rate with infants fed with HM and formula with DHA at current concentrations. Sweep visual evoked potential (VEP) acuity and latecy were measured on each preterm infant, along with their head circumference, weight and length. It concluded that preterm infants may require higher DHA than the current level provided in preterm formula. A comment on the study is also presented, which claimed that the study is relevant to preterm infant nutrition.
