Abstract: Development-induced displacement in the country has brought severe economic, social, and environmental problems to the displaced people. This study examines the impact of displacement on the lifestyle, profession, and mindset of the affected people. It also studies the role of state and non-state actors in the entire process and suggests remedial action plan to minimize the anomalies.
