Abstract: The article focuses on the use of mobile devices in enhancing individualized educational program (IEP) designed for students with disabilities within the context of best practices in assistive technology (AT) assessment and implementation. An assessment of the use of iPad gadget using the Archives of the Quality Indicators of Assistive Technology (QIAT) was launched. The key factors to consider when deciding on the use of iPads and other mobile technology are mentioned.
